Biography

Graduate of the N.A.Rimsky-Korsakov St. Petersburg State Conservatory (2010, class of Professor Makarov A.V., Potemkina T.O.), Gnesins Russian Academy of Music  (post-graduate course), class of prof. Tsygankov A.A.

She leads an active concert activity. Often takes part in master classes of world famous mandolinists: Ugo Orlandi (Italy), Caterina Lichtenberg (Germany), Michael Marshall (USA), etc.
The victory at the prestigious competition “International Music Tournament” (Italy, 2010) opened new and interesting creative ways for the musician. From this moment active concert activity begins. In September 2011, within the framework of the international festival “Festival internazionale Valentiano” in Orvieto (Italy), the solo concert of the mandolinist (Teatro Mancinelli) was successfully held. In July 2012., recorded the first solo disc of modern, original music for mandolin solo – “Mandolin Solo”. And in September 2013, together with A. Makarov – the second disc – for two mandolins (“Duo mandolin”). In 2012, Alvina Voznesenskaya took part in the international competition. Raffaele Calace (Italy), having won the first prize and the title of laureate, was awarded a special prize – an Italian mandolin.
